a few weeks ago i was in a desperate need for silver... so went looking for it. after rummaging for a while through old boxes, patiently awaiting review after the last studio move, i found a few old experimental cast pieces, tucked away in a small pouch. one of them, was untitled, a very tactile piece. it had a good weight to it. i had cast it decades ago, gifted it to my then 99 year old grandmother and gotten it back when she passed, a few years later. the sign was clear: time for some much needed transmutation! after due and proper ceremonies, here is what happened to 55 grams of untitled cast fine silver: ...and into these circle and stick pendants below! a long stick and a circle pendant in brushed silver and a short stick one in black!
transmutation complete. (plus left overs) Comments are closed.
