With some room-to-move in the new space, I have begun pulling out boxes of work in progress and reviewing old pieces. These 3 necklaces are from an old series called 'Indian Summer' I started several decades ago... I go around in circles at times, spiraling into progress, and revisit often past designs to add, subtract and give them new life.

Early this summer Donut + Bars Necklace finally met its human, a match meant to be. Many had come around over the years, tempting this unique necklace and pulling this way and that, hoping it would want to go home with them. But Donut + Bars was never quite sure and passed on everyone. That is, until this summer, when C. came by... it was love at first sight!  Donut + Bars Necklace (2000) It was just 2 of them at the beginning, hollow forms and fabrications in sterling silver, copper and touches of 18k gold, on a long sterling silver chain, long enough to allow play and various combinations... So now, Cone + Bars Necklace is lonely. This one too passed on many a good offer and a lot of 'oohs and ahhs' from interesting prospects, but it is the first of the two and always been a bit stubborn.
