I am fully exploring the look and feel of this new Hearts. Simple in shape, bright in contemporary colors, big and small, with medium in between and a couple of more style options....I am telling you, you can find your Hearts in this collection! It's golden summer colors for these hot summer nights and days, and here is something to take along with you.
Despite the heat, these Hearts are very cool (and very light) to wear! I had to start my day right this morning and wanted to post this shot of me wearing some of my latest new work: Big Hearts Earrings in black silver and a long black Simple Heart Pendant to match.  It's already hot early in the morning, so I am showing them off on a faded green top that has seen deeper colors...but you get the picture.

The new Heart Pendants are off the bench! There are 3 sizes, under the name of the Big Heart Pendant - the large size, the Simple Heart Pendant - the medium size, and the Sweet Heart Pendant - the smallest of them all. They all come in 4 bright finishes, on a matte black cable chain with an easy toggle and bar clasp, and in 2 lengths.  I have been wanting to add some pendants to my free forms jewelry collection I started last year and am very excited to finally have them online in my store!

I think I like this second chain, and in the meantime have soldered 4 different heart elements, ready for the finishing process.

now someone else will be listening... enjoy! I can't even remember how long the twisted+wires jewelry collection has been around...let's say, a couple of decades? It started as joyful playtime with copper, brass and silver wires long ago, and it kept going strong, all these years. After all the recent swirling changes and curved balls of life hitting the ground, I made a very resisted decision to retire this jewelry line from retail sales. It is, after all, time to let it rest.  All I can now say is: don't miss it! (grin) I think of Hearts....seriously. How else could you respond to all the rough times life, the world of people, politics, the personal, the political? I am quick at shape associations, a word for a gesture, a feeling or just simply a tool, to aid on the path, of everything, to everything.  And then I think of 'walking sticks', everyday tools that help the going along the way, like these simple little pleasures...in vibrant colors for every mood.
The Season of the Heart continues and it's full-blowing...and I have to admit, I resisted the hearts ALL those seasons! But not anymore, today I am out of the closet and I bring hearts with me! Been enjoying myself in the studio these past few weeks, defying the cold, no firewood, and the broken space heater that sat next to me, nonetheless, pretending. Can you resist them? Didn't think so...

Went up the mountains the other day for a walk, hiking over ridges and under huge sunburned rocks, wind twirling through cottonwood falling leaves, stark simplicity and in tune with the turquoise sky.
