Single or in colorful combinations, the time for the Stick Pendants is now. As with all of my work and in trying to keep things as simple a possible - especially in these difficult times, cannot not point out these simple pendants this week. Each pendant comes on either a 36 inch or a 42 inch black cotton cord, play with the two sliders on the cord to adjust into various lengths and styles for personal preferences. They also have a nice feel to them, a good comforting weight anchoring down the task at hand of the daily. Adjust the feel to your personal liking.
They are intriguing just one-on-one. Even more so in twos... cold is here. as a matter of fact there is a foot of snow blanketing my jeep outside. everything is blinding white. it's time to stock up on a few basic things, firewood, thick rolled oats, beans of course. then there are the other basics, simple daily pleasures to walk along with you in the day. and to keep the fire going... so, stocking up on things like these coil rings, in the golden vermeil, finger rings, scarf sliders... or in simple black and brushed silver, quite minimal to fit right under those warm winter gloves!
the closeout sale is just over two weeks away and i am touching up the details of the 15 item-selection of what will be available for grabs. all pieces are super slashed in price - 40% to 60% off - a unique opportunity to take home one of a kind work and limited edition pieces, along with a few items i have decided to retire from my collections. here below another preview of a pair of earrings in the closeout sale: dangling bar earrings in copper part of the now retired solids collection, the dangling bar earring style is a very limited edition item, i believe i churned out maybe 20 max of these at the time.
(only 1 pair available, so just you know...) the last one in copper, with a hand-forged sterling silver ear wire. stay tuned for live links on launch date! the Riding the crazy waves of current times, keeping busy in the studio, playing to keep busy, to keep the thoughts of 'what next?' at bay. These are the Play Rings, the two left of a series of three of one of a kind work of some while ago. The middle one in the picture below - Play Ring with Ball, lives in somewhere in arizona now. The other two are hanging in there, telling each other stories in the tray of the work-to-refreshed. after so much travel, these rings are currently in their refreshing mode...but stay tuned, will post here again when they are back for grabs!
and so it is: cone+bar necklace not alone anymore! it got picked. by someone special. someone who really connected with it. it takes the time it takes, but they all find each other: the one who wears it, the one being worn... a last shot, a long look at it, before letting it go... and off we go... cone+bar necklace is off to philadelphia!
months of uncertainties have been piling up, we do not know what is happening next. bring my thoughts back to my work, the bench, what needs to be done, slices earrings, in progress. and after a few days, got a bunch to shoot, tedious work of quite a few hours... and then, they are ready to go!
along the way this march picked up some 'old' work sitting around on the bench, put these together, little sterling silver cubes. they are tiny, super light despite their 'cubeness' and they definitely stand out!
some one of a kind mini work ready for a customer, who grabbed them on the go... |
