These pendants made their debut at the Santa Fe Recycle Show and marveled people with their lightness and fun spin. They did not sell (yet), but some earrings did leave my booth with happy customers.

Recycled Paper Tube Pendant 003, Recycled Matchbox Paper Pendant 005, and Recycled Paper Tube Pendant 004, all out of recycled paper printer rolls, matchboxes and strips of paper from books and magazines I have been collecting for years and finally found some fun recycle ideas and transformed them into jewelry!

These pendants are all different, they hang on a black brass bead chain and are signed, dated and numbered.

Been deep into fall cleaning, reviewed, retired, put together a flash fall sale on a few things...and a fresh start is underway.

Pulled out and finally finished some old work from (wait for it...) 1991!
But I always work in cycles and often revisit older work to turn it into new.

Completed a couple of pendants and a couple of earrings looking forward to the upcoming Santa Fe Recycle Show in November, and had fun shooting some pictures with my new phone.

Nothing is live online yet, but planning to launch in a few weeks.

I had to start my day right this morning and wanted to post this shot of me wearing some of my latest new work: Big Hearts Earrings in black silver and a long black Simple Heart Pendant to match.

It's already hot early in the morning, so I am showing them off on a faded green top that has seen deeper colors...but you get the picture.

The new Heart Pendants are off the bench!

There are 3 sizes, under the name of the Big Heart Pendant - the large size, the Simple Heart Pendant - the medium size, and the Sweet Heart Pendant - the smallest of them all.
They all come in 4 bright finishes, on a matte black cable chain with an easy toggle and bar clasp, and in 2 lengths.

I have been wanting to add some pendants to my free forms jewelry collection I started last year and am very excited to finally have them online in my store!

Have been working on some new pendants to add to my Free Form Jewelry collection and experimenting with different chains...many possibilities, but trying to pin down the best one!

I think I like this second chain, and in the meantime have soldered 4 different heart elements, ready for the finishing process.

This necklace went home last week, just around the corner..
This necklace keeps talking, in a constant dialog with itself.

I can't even remember how long the twisted+wires jewelry collection has been around...let's say, a couple of decades?
It started as joyful playtime with copper, brass and silver wires long ago, and it kept going strong, all these years.
After all the recent swirling changes and curved balls of life hitting the ground, I made a very resisted decision to retire this jewelry line from retail sales.
It is, after all, time to let it rest.

I think of Hearts....seriously.
How else could you respond to all the rough times life, the world of people, politics, the personal, the political?
I am quick at shape associations, a word for a gesture, a feeling or just simply a tool, to aid on the path, of everything, to everything.

And then I think of 'walking sticks', everyday tools that help the going along the way, like these simple little pleasures...in vibrant colors for every mood.
